tanzmainz war zur 15. Internationalen Tanzmesse NRW in Düsseldorf eingeladen, dem größten Meeting für zeitgenössischen Tanz mit mehr als 1.500 Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus 50 Ländern. Aus 900 Vorschlägen waren 19 Produktionen ausgewählt worden, die sich in voller Länge präsentieren konnten, darunter: „Trailer Park“ von tanzmainz!

„Soul Chain“ zum 100. Mal
Das Ensemble und die Tanzdirektion konnten im Juni ein ganz besonderes Ereignis feiern: die 100. Aufführung von „Soul Chain“. Nur wenige Stücke der internationalen Tanzszene erreichen jemals diese Zahl.

New York, New York
Fünf Tage lang gastierte das tanzmainz Ensemble im Juli mit „Soul Chain“ im Joyce Theater in New York (USA). Und wie bei Ihrem ersten Gastspiel im Big Apple feierten die New Yorker das Ensemble mit „standing ovations“. Keine Woche später ging es nach Frankreich in die Provence zum renommierten Vaison Danses Festival im antiken Amphitheater.
